Just taken the test and it gave me a rating of 1756 which seems way too high. I am 61 and have played less than ten serious tournament games in my life. I spend more time watching broadcasts than actually playing. I have a rating of 1450 on chess.com for daily chess. Possibly I gained because there is less chance to blunder than in real games - one of my pitfalls - doing fine then playing one catastrophic move. Rather comforting though and something to build upon
Took the test, great fun but it gave me 2196!! Way too high, my current ECF rating is 147 - I didn't enter this when it asked about ELO ratings as ECF is different to ELO. Not sure if that makes any difference to the result.
