Thanks for signing up to my newsletter (so many new subscribers this week!) - I send this out every week to everyone, and more often to Premium subscribers (they also get big discounts on my tournaments). We feature book reviews, podcast interviews, game analysis and much more - but your ideas and input are always welcomed!
I have been slogging away learning French on Duolingo. If you are already a Francophone or you are learning French and seeking to improve your chess? You could do worse than subscribe to this excellent newsletter and podcast - www.chess-and-strategy.com - there are a wide selection of articles and puzzles to suit all abilities. One example picked at random;
Recently I have been busy organising (amongst other things) a Cornwall v Fiji challenge match (we will post a game from this encounter next week), a monthly virtual weekend congress (Hampstead - next event is on 13-14 February), a tournament for Leicestershire juniors, the London Online Chess League (150+ players) and an event on behalf of the IDF / Isle de France) Chess Association.
If you need someone to organise a chess event, let me know!
