Muswell Hill FIDE rapid of 7th September 2021
Thanks to all of you who took part in our first event post-lockdown at the Clissold Arms! Thanks also to the lovely Clissold Arms for their hospitality and for looking after us all day. The venue has had a revamp and is even more beautiful… We will be back on 14th September and then in October with two more dates. REGISTER HERE.

GM Alexander Cherniaev scored 6/6 and won £100.00 - well done.
Richard Cannon scored 5/6 and won £50.00.
There was a rating prize for players Under 1600, which has been shared by Henry Armburg-Jennings and Salvatore Pepe on 3.5/6 - winning £25.00 each.
We are running a GM norm event in October half term (probably in Hendon NW4) - see https://chess-results.com/tnr574248.aspx?lan=1 for details. The games will be broadcast live and we are looking for sponsorship for this and further tournaments.

Rated between 1281 and 1500 - Jamie Doyle (1283), Suyash Srikanta Prasad (1467) and Jakub Rozak (1351) scored 4/6 winning £17.00 each.
Rated up to 1280 - Oleg Verbytski (1103) 4/6 winning £50.00.
We also held a separate section for players rated Under 1450 on the FIDE and ECF rapid lists.
