Rules: Camera (via ZOOM) is mandatory.
You must have a FIDE profile to enter. FIDE standard ratings apply.
To take part in these events, you will need a desktop computer with a webcam, and ideally a headset microphone. You could use your phone to join the video and audio, and play chess on your laptop using Tornelo.
You must register using your real name - no aliases
You must be logged in to our Arbiters room and be on video throughout and be willing to come on camera at any point during the game. You do not have to have your audio on during the game. If you fail to come on camera your prize may be forfeited and you won’t be invited back!
If you disappear to the toilet or the camera breaks down, no problem. Ask me for technical advice in the Arbiter’s Room.
Please change your screen name to your real name in Zoom.
The Zoom chat and video may be recorded and will be reviewed after the event. Please be polite if you wish to be invited back.
The PGN file of all the games will be available afterwards and will be submitted to Anti-Cheating software for analysis.
Draw Claims - just below the chat in Zoom there is also a sign for "raise your hand" - you can use this to call the arbiter!
We reserve the right to refuse entry or move you between sections without explanation. We reserve the right to refuse prizes if you break the rules.
Arbiters: Adam Raoof and Florian LUTARD ( third arbiter if there are a high number of players).
