I'm writing to let you know that the entry forms for both the London Chess League FIDE Congress (31/Mar-2/Apr 2023) and the Central London Chess Congress (21-23/Apr/2023) are now online! Both events are 5-round weekend events with some differences. Please see details and links to entry forms below.
London Chess League FIDE Congress: Friday 31st of March to Sunday 2nd of April, 2023
Sections: Open & U1800
Both sections FIDE & ECF rated
Entry fee £45 (+£15 pay-to-play for English ECF members below Gold)
No outside food/drink allowed
Central London Chess Congress at Imperial College: Friday 21st of April to Sunday 23rd of April, 2023
Sections: Open, U2000 & U1750
Open & U2000 are FIDE & ECF rated; U1750 section is ECF rated
Entry fee £50 (+£15 pay-to-play for English ECF members below Gold)
No U18's allowed (Westminster Council restrictions) measured as of 21/Apr/23

Location: London Mindsports Centre, 21 Dalling Road W6 0DJ
Sections: Open and U1800
Rating: Both sections ECF & FIDE rated. Players must be under 1800 in both the ECF and FIDE standard lists at the start of the event if they wish to play in the U1800 section. The organisers & arbiters reserve the right to move players up to the Open
Membership requirements: English players must be Gold members or above
Entry Fee: £45 (£15 surcharge for English players with ECF membership below Gold level)
General Restrictions: Strictly NO outside food or drink allowed except for medical reasons - there is a bar selling snacks, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, and alcoholic beverages for you to enjoy.
COVID Restrictions: There are currently no planned additional COVID precautionary measures, but the organisers reserve the right to change this policy at their discretion

Location: 2nd floor Union Concert Hall, Imperial College Union, Beit Quadrangle, Prince Consort Road, South Kensington, London, SW7 2BB
Sections: Open, U2000 and U1750
Rating: Open and U2000 sections are both FIDE and ECF rated. U1750 section is ECF rated. Players must be under the rating limit in both the ECF and FIDE standard lists at the start of the event if they wish to play in a rating limited section. The organisers & arbiters reserve the right to move players to a different section
Membership requirements: English players must be Gold members or above
Entry Fee: £50 (£15 surcharge for English players with ECF membership below Gold level)
General Restrictions: Due to Westminster Council restrictions No U18's are allowed at this event. Unfortunately this is beyond our control and we legally cannot make exceptions. To attend in any capacity (including spectating) you must be 18yo or older on 21/Apr/2023. There cannot be any exceptions to this rule, which is set in place by Westminster Council.
