The Mindsports Masters Rapidplay is Back!
The long awaited return of the Mindsports Masters has begun with the addition of more Rapidplay events. The upcoming Rapidplay events will take place on the 13th & 27th November (both Sundays) at the London Mindsports Centre 21 Dalling Rd, London W6 0JD.
The format has been amended...
- The event will remain as one Open to all section
- Time control: 20 minutes for the game with an additional 5 seconds increment from move one
- Number of rounds: 7 (with a 30 minute lunch break at 2pm)
- Scheduled start time: 11am, Finish: 6.30pm (by the latest 7pm)
- Playing area: Downstairs hall (more accessible!)
- Free entry to GMs
Guaranteed minimum prize fund (subject to increase depending on the number of entries):
1st - £100, 2nd - £50, Rating Category Prize - £50.
The event is limited to a capacity of 50 people!

Please note that consuming food and drink not purchased at the bar downstairs is strictly prohibited and must be consumed outside the venue. The bar area may not be used as a breakout space at all. Players must please go outside the venue between rounds. Parents are not allowed in the playing hall during the event.

I would like to thank everyone who played in the September events. It was a great success and I intend to keep the tournaments coming, including more Blitz events!
The next title norm event(s) are awaiting confirmation to take place in the February half term break (between the 13th - 19th).
