The Northampton Chess Rapidplay, on Sunday 12th February, is an excellent opportunity for chess players to compete against each other and test their skills. 

The event has a capacity for up to 150 entrants and offers a prize fund of around £700 (that will increase depending on entries) in the Swiss format - 6 rounds. All games will be Fide and ECF rated, giving players the chance to improve their ratings. In addition, there is a spacious separate analysis room available for players to review their games and prepare for the next round.

Northampton being the "home" of Rapidplay chess format in England, it seems to be the perfect location to host similar events.

Transport links via train just 1 hour from Birmingham and London. All-day car parking on site for £1 at the University of Northampton- Creative Hub.
